General Information

The American Maltese Association has put together several documents into a packet for people interested in the Maltese breed. The packet includes the AMA Breeders List, suggested questions when contacting a breeder, a copy of the American Kennel Club approved Breed Standard for Maltese, a brochure containing general tips, a list of Books, Magazines, videos, & pet supply catalogs pertaining to Maltese, several drawings representing how to groom "topknots" on a Maltese head, a copy of the AMA's Membership Policy & Procedures, and a subscription form for the AMA newsletter - The Maltese Rx.

A great deal of time, effort and expense has gone into preparing this material. We are happy to provide the information and hope that you will find it helpful. The American Maltese Association is a non-profit organization and, in order to help cover our costs of printing and postage for this information, we charge a $5 fee (US dollars).
